Writing Prompt #16

It was old-fashioned, a perfect style for her.

She looked out into the world through it. It wasn’t always this way since sometimes she left the mirror to talk with others. Slowly but surely it grew easier to talk using her mirror.

Most of the time, it was to herself she spoke. When others talked it was hard to understand since sometimes the meanings escaped her.

One day a knock was heard on the mirror. She glanced at it then jerked her head back. It was then she realized the truth. Slowly her body dissipated into nothingness. She didn’t exist.
