I consulted my sister regularly when I came upon a block. At first, I wouldn’t even write on it then she suggested we talk it out. Some of her ideas were amazing. Between her ideas and mine, we came up with a storyline.

I kept writing to the end.

“I believe myself that a good writer doesn’t really need to be told anything except to keep at it.”

— Chinua Achebe

Toward the end of October, it was time for me to take a trip to see my sister. I spent two weeks with her.

Most of the time was spent doing schoolwork. I had to go to McDonald’s every day for the internet since my schooling was over the internet.

I lost several sections. It happened several different time which meant I had to rewrite the end of the book again. I couldn’t believe it, but I plugged away. I had my husband, my sister, the Warrior Writers (unfortunately, they closed down), and KD encouraging me.

When we were together at my sister’s house, we discussed the book. What should we do next?

We needed a new name for it. What should we name it? Should we wait until the book was almost done…
