Ascends and recedes always lurking underneath

Ready to snatch calm

Numbness to the heart inward lethargy feeling

Deadened to heartache

Lashing out with pain… anger of agony, loss

Anxiously missing

Those who fade away, disappear, abandon us

Mocking and taunting

Just beyond our reach. Death, whether alive or not,

Brings heartbreak and loss

Alienation, fetches helpless emotions

Yes, terror and dread

Brokenness in heart, shattered… waiting for healing

And returning love.
