Tell me
What is life?
Can you describe it?
Or explain what it’s about?
Or hold it in your hands?
Can you create it by speaking words?
Or snuff it out the exact same way?
Is it like a candle you can blow out?
Tell me, friends and foe alike, what exactly is life?
Do you struggle to understand the nuances of your life?
Can you construct a life by snapping your fingers?
So I ask you again, What is life?
What makes the substance of a being?
Life doesn’t come from just anything
It always comes from God
Who alone gives life
To all beings
He is
God.
