A Suit Just For You (Part 1)

It all started the day she ordered a suit online. Of course, she didn’t want it since she hated wearing suits. However, it looked like one her dad wore all the time as a little girl.
“Oh, Daddy, I love your suit! You look so handsome,” she told him every time he dressed up in it.
“Why, thank you, Ruby! You look quite beautiful yourself,” he normally replied unless, of course, sadness covered his face.
Since her mom had died quite early, she always knew when Daddy felt sad. As the years passed, their relationship slowly dwindled. Daddy started losing his memory and would talk to her as if it were her mom. At the age of seventeen, she finally realized why.
“Pearl, you look beyond beautiful tonight. All those years ago when we married cannot compare to your grace and charm tonight.”
“Daddy, it’s me, Ruby. Mama isn’t here.”
First, confusion spread over his face. Next, sadness, and then he seemed to lose what he had left of his mind. Within days, he passed away.
